Hopefully, Arial Sharon's move to the center and rejections of the most extremist of the Likud "greater Israel expansionists" will be helpful.
Eretz Israeli is logistically and strategically impossible. The Israelis can barely keep a lid on the open air 'sardine can' prison known as Gaza, how is Eretz Israel even a remotely logical possibility ? We're dealing with insane dreamers and madmen on both sides who need to immediately be removed and placed in straight-jackets.
Here is Eretz Israel:

Robert Fisk said in a recent interview with Amy Goodman that he has completely lost hope. This coming from a man who has been covering the region as a journalist based in Lebanon for decades:
AMY GOODMAN: What gives you hope? What gives you hope?
ROBERT FISK: Nothing. I’m sorry. Nothing. I’m sorry. Nothing at the moment. Ordinary people, I guess. Ordinary people who speak out. People in the Arab world as well. But in terms of governments, nothing much. I may be wrong. I may be too much of a pessimist because I've seen too much.
The region is steeped in anti-Semitism. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion are readily available at any respectable hotel in the Middle East from what I've been told. Egyptian state television recently broadcast an entire 'documentary' series on the Protocols. [The] 2005 Syrian edition [of the Protocols] authorized by the Syrian Ministry of Information was featured at the Cairo International Book Fair. Some of these paramilitary Islamist groups, both Sunni and Shi'ite, have also saturated themselves in Nazi racial propaganda:
Omar Saed Sheikh, who wired $100,000 to Mohammed Atta on instructions from ISI [Patistani Intelligence] chief Ahmed, recited parts of Mein Kampf by heart (as if it were the Koran), according to Bernhard-Henri Lévy (author of "Who Killed Daniel Pearl").
David Duke just went on a 'diplomatic' mission to Syria a couple of weeks ago, where he probably was also pushing his new book Jewish Supremacism: My Awakening to the Jewish Question and passing out ZOG literature.
There are still 200,000 Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Unless the Territories are partitioned even further (unacceptable to the Palestinians), the settlers are removed (will probably cause a civil war in Israel) or a one state solution is seriously considered (a highly unlikely consideration for an extreme right-wing and uncaring Israeli government or a Palestinian, Arab and Israeli population increasingly steeped in mutual anti-Semitism, there is no solution in sight.
It is up to the US and EU populations (not governments) to wake up and put economic and political pressure on Israel to end its 38 year Occupation. On the other hand, if Rice and Bush are doing nothing, a EU delegation must step forward to intervene in this situation immediately.
Both Israeli and US Occupations must obviously end if any real progress is to be made in the region. US citizens must take responsibility for their tax dollars at work in both Occupied Iraq and Palestine. It is our money that buys the bullets that shoot Iraqis in the face and kills Palestinian children. We are the Occupiers of these people. We are the enablers of this continued madness.
I don't think anyone really knows what to do about the Israeli-Palestinian problem anymore. All I know is we are at the continued mercy of war profiteers and murderers--as we have been for decades.
Powell recounted that he had an opportunity to sit in a meeting with Gorbachev and his staff where the premier was outlining his plans. During his talk Gorbachev explained out that he was effectively ending the Cold War, at which point he stopped, looked at General Powell and said, "You will have to go find a new enemy."
Think of the position Powell was in. For 28 years, his mission and his career were crystal clear: Protect America from the "bad guys." Now all of a sudden, he didn't know exactly who the bad guys were...

Prince Hassan of Jordan said on Sunday that the US had run out of goodwill in Iraq, and that "only the horror of an all-out civil war, with perhaps a million more dead, could bring an uncertain end by arms to this ongoing tragedy."
