The Strange Case of Ahmed Chalabi

Chalabi_shatter_1

If you do business with terrorists, if you support them or sponsor them, you will not do business with the United States of America. - George W. Bush, Nov 7, 2001

There are many skeletons in George W. Bush´s  Iraq War closet. For example, the unsolved mystery of the nine billion US dollars that vanished from Iraqi revenue sources, such as from the UN Food for Oil Program, during the Coalition Provision Authority reign of Paul Bremer. No one in the US Congress and certainly not the US people seem interested in pursuing the truth behind what actually occurred in the apparent looting of Iraq´s income

Equally strange, however, might possibly be the case of one Ahmed Chalabi, who according to the NY Times via Wikipedia:

Chalabi_wiki_1

Note the last sentence: "...and nothing has ever come of the charges nor do the Iraqi or US governments currently seemed very interested in pursuing them. "

If one were to attempt to make a convincing case that the Bush Family is still in bed with the Iranian regime since the Iran-Contra scandal (as I have attempted to do so here), it might make sense to look at the strange case of Mr. Chalabi, who after this spy scandal broke was appointed deputy prime minister of Iraqi and later oil minister.

I find it very difficult to believe the Bush Administration has so little sway over its experiment in ´democracy´in Iraq that Mr Chalabi was not, at the very least, the subject of a cursory investigation for this apparently major spy scandal.

The following items of concern may also lead one to conclude that the Bush Family is not only allied with the Saudi Royal Family, but covertly working with the Iranian Ayatollah as well: the dealings of Grover Norquist and his Islamic Institute; the current Halliburton-Iran contracts, which include a general failure to uphold the spirit of the US Treasury Dept´s Office of Foreign Assets Control Policy (OFAC); the Bush Administration´s failure to attack Iran after it was revealed that regime harbored 'al Qaeda' operatives after 9/11- in apparent contravention of the Bush Doctrine.

From Bosnia to Basra, what we may very well be witnessing is stealth Caliphate building by the United States, as the Bush Administration uses US servicemen as target practice for a new generation of Mujahideen.

Updated Mar01.2007:

A few other major items to consider, which I did not - but definitely should - include in the above entry:

Iran, Valerie Plame and AQ Khan's Nuclear Wal-Mart

Panic in Year Zero (1962)
